I am a descendant of Joe Whigham, Sr. and Elizabeth Hanna Whigham. My ggrandfather was Joseph Thomas Eugene Whighm. He was born on April 29,1856 and died in 1930. Jener (as he was called) married Mary Frances Bloodworth on Feb. 5, 1880. Fanny (as she was called) was born June 21, 1861 and died March 27,1930. Their daughter Georgia Ann Eudora was my ggrandmother. She married Ernest Price. I was able to remember them as a child. I almost named my first born Elizabeth Ann Eudora . All my great aunts reminded me how Georgia hated that old name. So I named her Elizabeth Ashley. The house they use to live in is still standing in Louisville. I remember so well how the food smelled so good in that large home. Ggrandmother could cook so well. She always had special treats for me. Please share any information you have on Thomas Whigham. By the way, did you know at one time my gggrandfather Joseph Thomas Eugene Whigham once owned Blue Springs, Al? There is now a state park there. Hope to hear from you very soon. Thanks so much.
