Karen, after I posted the message, I neglected to expand that it does cover the Whiddon line through to one of the authors, David T. Whiddon. However, it does start with Augustine's sons and goes down to his line of descent to David T. Whiddon. The other author, Norris Farnell, and I share the same ancestor for a few generations. At any rate, it does cover Lott (b 1730 Norfolk VA-d 1784 Nash Co., NC) who md Sarah and had 3 children by her: Maxwell, Elizabeth, and James. He supposedly had another marriage producing William, Lott, and Benjamin. It does give a good history of how they obtained land, where they went, and so on, but it gets too confusing to summarize from thereon here (that's why it was put in book form). However, I have these Whiddons in my database, including Willoughby, James, etc. I'm currently re-entering the Whiddens who resided in Florida, believe it or not! I've had to re-enter all of my data into my new computer for my old one crashed in February. I spelled all the Whiddons with "ON" at the end for easier look-up. I try to put in the "notes" section the way the name was spelled on censuses, etc. If you'd like to purchase the book, it's $19.95 payable to me, Laura Tully, PO Box 69, Grandin, FL 32138. I could print out what I have so far beginning with James and go backwards in time to Augustine for your reference and send it with the book if you'd like. I insert a pedigree chart on my Whiddon line in each book as I mail them out.
