I can tell you the family but the name Malinda is baffling. Newell W. Whicker lived in Washington County with three wives, one of whom was Malinda Leonard. The son of that couple, Benjamin Franklin Whicker, had a daughter named Malvina A., b. 17 May 1870. Could the name be Malvina vice Malinda? Newell had four sons who raised families in Washington County but only Benjamin Franklin had a daughter with a name similar to Malinda. Malinda, again, was mother of Malvina. Malinda did not marry again but died 1859. So, it appears that her granddaugher, Malvina is the one who married. My research on the family doesn't get into whom Malinda married. The family moved to Kansas about 1910.
