one of our familys married into the david wherry family but it was spelled wharry in lancaster co,pa for thomas and martha 1747.one of their sons was james who married mary flack and moved to washington co,pa 1790.thomas jr. family may have stay in lancaster co but i doubt it.one of james sons was joseph who married maryann gardner and moved o carroll co,pa,spelled wherry.the famly was raised there and then demas moved to indiana and then to wis.richand co.
