Dear Selena
Thanks very much for your help. I too found that web site and have found an extra GUncle because of it. What I have found very strange is that there appeared to be 2 other houses at Dunowen (and in 1901, Duneen) of more Wheltons i.e. John Mathew Whelton and family and Michael Whelton and family. Were they all brothers? Why did they all move from Duneen? Is Dunowen and Duneen sometimes mixed up. The document copy (PDF File) says Dunowen!!??
And finally are you related to any of the other Wheltons from Dunowen?
I am coming over from Spain at the end of October on a family search, so perhaps I can visit Ardfield Parrish Church and get some answers.
Regards
Pat Whelton
