Hi Sharon,
I am grasping at straws here as I try to make ANY connections for my family line.
Have a theory that some of my tri-racial family of VA may have been among those who migrated to NS and CA in 1783,
and have found some 'possibles' w/the surnames of: WEEDEN,
WEADEN,WILLDEN,and WHEATON.
Find a THOMAS WHELLAN, of SC in the USCT Civil War listings
and think there is a connection but am unable to trace.
Contact me, please, if there is anything of interest here or the possibility that you might be looking for people of
mixed race.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
