Marriage int. were filed by an Eleazor Wheelock and Abigail Oliver, a widow, at Sturbridge, MA Nov. 5, 1815. His first wife may have been Polly Benson, if this is the same E. Wheelock b. 7 OCT 1767, Sturbridge, Worcester, MA , d. 6 AUG 1849.....I am particularly interested in information about the bride, wid. Abigail Oliver as I suspect she may be the widow of Cornelius Wheeler who was killed at the Battle of Lundy's Lane, Ontario, Canada July 26, 1814. If so, I will have solved the mystery of what happened to her when Cornelius died. They were my 3rd great grand parents. Does anyone have information on this second marriage for Eleazor (sic) Wheelock and the place/date of death for Abigail?
