WILLIAM MONROE WHEELER
Funeral services were held in the Baptist Church Friday, Dec. 23, for WILLIAM MONROE WHEELER, who was born Jan. 17, 1871 and died Dec. 21, 1949, at the home of a son WALTER in Fort Worth, Texas. Rev. DAVID C. HALL of Ardmore conducted the services with burial at Hewitt cemetery arranged by Leslie Funeral Home. Pallbearers were TOM TODD, W. F. BURCH, WALTER GLENN, J. O. MITCHELL, R. A. DAVIE, and W. S. KEMP. Mr. Wheeler is survived by seven children, WALTER WHEELER of Fort Worth, JAKE WHEELER of Rule, Texas; FRANK WHEELER of Wilson, MARCELLA GIFFORD of Rising Star, Texas; BIRDIE HUGHES of Ardmore and MAYBELLE TURNBELL of Haskell, Texas. There are 31 grandchildren.
