I am searching for a Jack Daniel Wheeler who was born December 5, 1927 in North Carolina. Is he dead or alive...........who knows? If anyone on this forum has information they would share it would be greatly appreciated
A letter from Jack D. Wheeler to Neomi (Naomi, his sister) Wheeler in 1954 from California. Jack, at the time letter was written says he had an 8 month-old son named Jack Danile Wheeler, Jr., by his wife, Florence E. Ross whom he married in 1951. Said his biggest mistake was marrying Bertie in 1948 & he was sorry he had lost his children by her.
Letter to Naomi, dated October 1, 1962 with the following return address: Mrs. Tom Russ 222 S. 4th St Patterson , CA. According to information in this letter Jack, "left there March 4, 1960 leaving son & wife Florence...do not know where he is".
July 29, 1961.....a Post Card from La Grande, Oreg. to Betty Jean Wall from Jack. He states: " was in Ft. Howard MD a few weeks ago....got married 8 times since I heard from you...have no address yet. "PS Always keep going to church as often as you can..."
September 11, 1962, letter sent to Jack c/o Patterson CA general delivery was returned as undeliverable.
Anyone have info?
