I'm trying to find the family of TEC 5 Stewart F. Wheeler, ASN: 11085537, 36th Tank Battalion, 8th Armored Division. TEC 5 Stewart F. Wheeler was KIA on March 5, 1945.
TEC 5 Wheeler was born December 8, 1922. His parents were Grace MacDonald and E.H. Wheeler who got married October 8, 1921. Grace's parents were John Fred MacDonald and Minnie MacDonald (Parsons), according to the 1930 census living in Westfield, Orleans County, VT. Other children of Grace and E.H. Wheeler are; Robert Wheeler, born October 29, 1925, Lorraine Wheeler, born July 3, 1927 and Winston Buddie Wheeler, born March ???
Stewart's enlisment papers show that he entered the service from Rutland, VT on November 7, 1942. According to the papers he was living in Caledonia County, VT before entering the service.
TEC 5 Stewart F. Wheeler is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery and his grave is adopted. The adoptive family would like to get in touch with the Wheeler family.
