I too am descended from the Whieldons of Ipstones. Your John (1667) was I believe brother of my ancestor Ellinor (1668 - 1700).

How do know this family is connected to the potter Thomas? I long suspected it but had no real evidence.

Your link to dk-yeoman has an unnecessary space in it by the way.

I see on today's maps that Blackbrook is now some kind of zoo. I hope to visit soon to see if there's anything left.
