Are you related to Ansel Whedon?
Do you have a Jerimiah Jackson listed in the 1860 census? Thanks again for your response.
The young boy was my Great great Grandfather.
His name was John Jackson. He was born in 1855 in Virginia. Jerimiah was his father. My GRT,Grt Grandfather was 1/2 Black.
