You probably are on the right track.Thomas Whedon(var. Wheaton, Wheadon), husband to Ann Small, landed in New Haven, Conn, as indentured servant to John Meigs. He had sons Thomas andJohn.John (I) had a son named John(II), who had a son named John(III).Thomas had a daughter Rebecca who married John II.This would have made Rebecca and John (II) second cousins. They are my direct ancestors, as follows: Me>Glenn Wheaton>Earl Wheaton>Charles Wilson Wheaton>Samuel Syllamon Wheaton>Oliver Wheaton(II)>Oliver Wheaton(I)>John(III) Whedon>John(II) Whedon>John(I) Whedon>Thomas Whedon the pioneer.I haven't done a lot of collateral research the siblings of my direct line...but I'm working on it.Also, have several sources...
