I am so sorry, I do not know anything about this
couple before coming to Monroe County. As I remember
they were in the 1850 census in Franklin Township.
They were next door to my Grandmother Elizabeth Hines
and her presumed daughter Margaret McVey. Margaret
had a daughter Mary McVey and she was in the
Wheaton household for this census.

I see Jim Wheaton (a descendant) puts them in
Fayette County, Pa before coming to Ohio.

Which child were you descended from?
