I am seeking info for the descendants of a Samuel and William WHEATON/WHEADON of Newport, RI. They both settled there about 1644. I am trying to find out when they were born and the place of their birth. When did they die and where did they die? Who did they marry and what were their children names and their date of birth? I am trying to find out if my direct ancestor William WHEATON b. 1779 in either Westchester Co., NY or Conn. was a direct descendant of Samuel or William. Were Samuel and William related somehow? Maybe brothers? Any info on the families of Samuel and Wheaton would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much! Joe Kelly
