I haven't known about a possible Wheatley/Crisp/Wilkinson connection for very long and have collected very little information so far. A few of the Pitt Co Wilkinsons and Crisps were in Hardeman Co TN by 1830 after first settling for a while in middle TN, but there are no Wheatleys/Whitlys in the 1830 or 1840 census of Hardeman Co. pat
