It was such a long time ago but, if you know the street that the family lived on in Franklin/Treadwell perhaps you could see if there are any old timers (they would be extremely old) and talk to them. I have been to Franklin several times researching the Wheat family (a great uncle, SD Wheat is buried in the Ouleout Cemetery in the Civil War section) and perhaps the Town/Village Clerk could help.
