What no Whaymans? Sunderland connection

Suffolk seems to be the source of most Whaymans, but my great grandmother, Eleanor Whayman, was from Sunderland, where she married a largely unemployed engine fitter called James Buskin Frail. They had three children, Ernest, Nell and Jamesena (sic). Ernest was brought up by his aunts.

Eleanor Whayman's father was Benjamin Whayman, a master mariner. She married in the 1870s.

Would anyone like to pick up this starter?
