I have managed to find quite a lot from various websites but have not verified it all as yet although I have seen the original census - www.familysearch.org is a good one. Anyway this is what I have:
William Whatman (b1794) married Harriet Ransom (b1798) on 30/10/1820. They had numerous children:
Henry b1820 married Ann Miller
Charlotte b1822
Ann b1825
John b1827
Sarah b1832
William b1833 (my great great grandfather) married Mary Morgan
Spencer b1835
Henry b1820 had the following children:
Henry b1845 married Sarah Furminger Dec 1866
Alfred b 1847
William b1852
Harriett b 1855 (could this be yours?)
Sarah b1857
Esther b1860
Benjamin b1862
Thomas b1864
Mary Ann b1868
I can send you more details if you like. All of the above Whatmans seem to originate from Brede – and there are a lot more!
