I'm a WHATLEY
Posted by: J Whatley (ID *****8451) Date: March 28, 2008 at 09:04:23

I'm looking for pictures and history of my greatmother and her brothers, Guy King and Tobie King.
I have a couple of pictures of great grandmom Nannie but not of her brothers Guy and Tobie King.

They were taken by slaveowners at a young age to the "King Platation.

My great mother name was Nannie King she moved to the Whatley Plantation where she married a slave name Mike Whatley. Her mother was named "Harriet".

Nannie King Whatle died in 1958 at the age of 119 years.
In Polk county Georgia. She was an Indian but I do not know what tribe.

Does anyone have any information.

Thank you.
