Mrs. E. W. Whatley was a widow when she married Wilson Edmond Whately. Her first maiden name was Suzanna Pathena Autry, born 31 May 1837 in Alabama. Her first husband was William Dossie Parker - my ggrandfather, She had one Parker child, James Bell Parker. She had 8 Whately children. She died 1885 and is buried in the Whately plot in Sandy Point, Brazoria County, TX. Gene could have been child of one of Suzanna's children. I have names and details of all of them. William D.
