Yes Meskegon is where they died. I talked to my great uncle who is still living and he did marry a nellie. Who ever gave that census did not know alot of the correct information or just didn't care.

Alexander, Nellie, Mary C, Thomas, and Elizabeth are all burried in Muskegon and they have it on the Muskegon genealogy website. Someone recently directed me that way.

That William can't be my William. My G Grandmothers name was Bessie Pearl Mcvey from Missouri. They ended up having children in Nebraska. Well I guess he could have been married before Bessie, I either found on a census or estimated the marriage of Bessie to be 1930.

I also know for sure Bessie died in 1972 and while she lay dieing in Nebraska Richard John Mclaren(William John Mclaren who changed his name after WWI) married a younger woman in Florida. I am unsure of her name and believe she is still living. So it is very possible he married before my Grandmother and makes me wonder if he even got a divorce from that woman since he wasn't divorced from my Grandmother and she wasnt dead yet when he married again. That and the change of his name I found odd. The social security index has his name as Richard, both my father and G Uncle told me he had changed his name to Richard and by the census and information I have come across I find this to be true.

Thank you for helping me in my search I greatly appreciate it!

Margie
