Have you checked the census listings for a Weyer family in Dauphin Co? Have you checked the courthouse recordes? My grandmother was a Weyer, but the family emigrated from Switzerland to Ohio in 1850. My brother's middle name is Weyer and his son's MN is Weyer. But tracing middle names with mothers' maiden names is a hit and miss proposition. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
