There is an oral family history that contains reference to a sister of Henry Weyer's unknown father whose name is Maggie Ault. Maybe she was a sister-in-law instead. She would have been an Aunt to Henry regardless if she was a sister or sister-in-law to Henry's father.

The family tradition also says Henry's father supposedly was the owner of a grist mill near BelAire, OH. When Henry's father died before the children were of legal age, the grist mill was "taken away" from the family. A little research has shown that there was a mill in the BelAire area that is historically linked to the Ault family.

You said that Anthony Weyer Jr. died in 1845, but I have two different birth years for Henry Weyer; 1842(from Census) and 1848 (from his tombstone). This Weyer name is pronounced we're. Did you find a connection for any of Henry's siblings, John C Weyer or Phillip Weyer?

Do you have any information about the lady who contacted you about David Jacob Weyer?
