My line of Weyers came from Switzerland to New Philadelphia, OH, ca 1850. From there they moved to Iowa and then scattered to the four winds. I have two privately done genealogies of this family and there is a John Weyer who might have been the right age to be your gf. Whom did your father and gf marry. Do you have a birthdate or date f death for your gf. Our line has been traced back to the 1500s by a professional genealogist in Switzerland.
