Hello Sarah
I'm not a descendent of the Wetherald family, my husband is. His mother was a Wetherald, and I have been researching the family for him.
I have been reading the info you have about Joseph Wehterald and I'm sure he was related to my husbands ancestors. I have traced his back to George Wetherald born 172 Lancashire England. He married Joanna Linwood born 1773 in Lancashire England. They were married ca 1830 in England. Came to America on the Ship Haleyon in 1819.
I have quite a bit of info after that but can't find any thing more about George and Joanna.
Would you have any information to connect Joseph to George?
Would love to hear from you or any one else that can help me.
