Yes, Urban is not exactly a common name. Generally Catholic, i believe -- after some of the popes. Did notice an Urban Swary in the New Bavaria & Holgate area, think it was in the 1916 Henry County Farmers' Index. Here's a link to the Urban Westrick obituary -- it's fairly far down the list: http://indianlake.com/obituarieslist02.htm
On the way back from Cleveland and Toledo to Saint Louis after last July 4, stopped in at Sacred Heart Church on The Ridge (New Bavaria or Neuber, depending on whether you're English or German). First visit in about 50 years, looked pretty much the same as last time; cemetery a little fuller, is all. Will have to get back in contact with the lady at the Putnam County library; they have a copy of the burial records for the parish, and for Holgate also.
I was raised on a farm just west of Sylvania, which is just west of Toledo OH. Can remember when Grandpa put in tile for drainage. We were north of the swamp, in the Ten Mile Creek drainage area. The gentleman who runs the Wood County genealogy and local history website has many tales of the Great Black Swamp.
As far as additional relatives in Henry County, Mom mentioned Okuley, Gerschutz, Giesige, Dietrick & Deitrick, Swary, Schon, Zierolf, Bauer. I've just recently been corresponding with a genealogist in the Coressel family -- relatives also. If your lucky, you meet a LOT of relatives this way.
