I am the grand daughter of Kenneth B. Westray b. Logan Co.Ky and d. Dewitt Co, ILL. He married Myra M. Persinger. He was sheriff, post master, insurance salesman, played ball with the Chicago Bears and served in WWII in Italy as a MP.
When he went off to war he appointed my grandmother sheriff until his return making her one of the first women sheriff's in Illinois history.
Kenneth was the son of Earl Westray and Mable Clare Binkley. I would love any information on this line and would be able to share some information about my grandfather's life and sibilings and their sibilings. Thank you.
