Hi Eddie
I am descended from Jane Westray (b.1827), dau of Benjamin Westray b.1799, son of Edward b. 1761 and Jane Westray b.1760. All were from Harrington, Cumbria and all males were mariners. Lots of relations. Likely your Jane Westray was related. Please get in touch, I go to the Cumbria record office again in November.
