WESTON and IJMES/IMES marriage in NC
In my husband's IMES family in GA starting in the mid 1800s, there were 3 women who had the middle name of WESTON. One of them was born in 1846; the next in 1879; and the third in 1903.The descendants of the one born in 1879 spell her middle name Western, but I imagine it was originally Weston. So I've always wondered if there were a WESTON surname somewhere in the background. Now I have been told that there were WESTON/IJAMS marriages in North Carolina.Does anyone have a record of a WESTON and IJMES/IAMS/IMES connection?
