Does anyone know of a Thomas Weston, who was among a small party of Americans in Gen. Mina's army who were captured by the Spanish in 1817? The Americans were sent to Spain, underwent a trial and confined to prison at Ceuta, but were freed March 14, 1820. Weston was from Philadelphia.
