Reply:Thanks for getting back to me; I am military retiree in Antelope CA just north of Sacramento, CA, a few miles.I have not been back to Plymouth MA in years, but my membership in the Soc of M/F Desc, and the Pilgrim Society have assistedvia the mails and e mail considerably. This, coupled with the fact I have many books on Plymouth and families (the entire set of Mayflower families in Progress from the Pilgrim Society in Plymjouth (75 Court St, Plymouth MA 02360.If you are interested, Vol 3 has our Weston lines for 5 genrations; then the library in Duxbury has a book on Weston family. So I have been fortunate to be able acquire data and input into my fam hist files (36,000 people); not all related, but related to those that are, or else a line that appears to be "Promising"as far as making a conneciton is concerned. Maria Weston Chapman was a retired School teacher, beautiful and domineering. If you find any books on her (you can order via the library loan system) - you will find her most interesting personality and the first woman rights advocate. One interesting story is when she had an assembly of christian women in Boston. The churches were very concerned and wrote letters to the men tellling them to get a handle on their wives; well thre was a demonstration outside where she was meeting and the Mayor approached her and told her she had to stop her meeting to which she replied (words to this effect) If we don't get our rights and freedoms starting here, just when do we start? and went on with her meeting.I'm sorry long winded. Enuf.Regards, and best wishes, Jerry
