Hello, Dee.We may be related!I was born and brought up in Burwash, still live within 20 miles of the village.I am also descended from a George and Elizabeth Weston through their son John c.1738 m. Jane / their son Philip c. 1771 m. Jane / their son William c. 1798 m. Mary Weller.William and Mary's daughter Emily Weston born 2 Sep. 1839 married William Littlemore on 25 Nov. 1860 and these were my great-grandparents.Her father William was a blacksmith in the village, as was his father - there is still a forge on the same site.
I can't quite tie up your details.According to my records, "my" George and Elizabeth had a son Charles, but in 1732 and I can't find another such trio in the Burwash Church christening records that I have. The later ones in your family I can identify including Charles (1771), Ann (1805) and her brother James (1800), also Ann Greenfield and family.
Re: Julie Falk's follow-up, I also see that James and Lucy had a daughter Frances, christened in Burwash 4 April 1826, but perhaps she didn't survive infancy.
Hope we can tie up some loose ends.
Regards,
Dave Littlemore in East Sussex
