I found an Asa Westmoreland, born 1837 in TN and died 16 Mar 1917 in Crittenden Co., KY; buried in Love Cemetery, Crittenden Co., KY. Cause of death listed as "La Gripp." He married Sarah Ann Lanham,b. 1841 in Wilson Co., TN.
Asa's father is shown as Ranse Westmoreland and mother was Sylva (Unknown).
Asa and Sarah had eleven children, the last one listed being a John Westmoland (yes, that's the spelling shown for all eleven children.) This John was born 03 Aug 1883 in Willimason Co., IL.
