See: 1870 Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana Tangipahoa P.O. Series: M593 Roll: 532 Page: 84 Family 136: Ravencraft, Jos 60 M W Carpenter b SC ------ Lucinda 35 F W b MS ------ Amelia 15 F W at home b MS ------ Wade 17 M W works on farm b MS Westmoreland Lizzie 23 F W no occupation b MS ------ Jackson 7 M W b LA ------ Samuel 4 M W b LA ------ Mary 2 F W b LA [Samuel is in 1st Wd, Tangipahoa Parish in 1880 as a laborer in the household of David Wolf] This Lucinda wouldn't be born in 1816 -- UNLESS the age is entered incorrectly, always a possibility. Or a daughter? I'm also interested in Lizzie. With the Lucinda Westmoreland Ravencraft connection, perhaps she is a nice or widowed daughter (not by the Civil War, and Samuel and Mary were born afterwards). "Jackson" is a significant name in my line because of Reaves Westmoreland's son who migrated from Virginia to NC to Lafayette Co Mississippi, dying in Oxford in his old age.
