Does anyone have any information on a connection between these families living in the South in the 1800's? My gggrandmother, Mary Barney Winders b. 1861 in Prescott, AR, wound up in the Hirst household in Arkansas in 1870 as a child. Her brother, James Buchanen Winders b. in LA, was in the household of Dr. Key in TX in 1870. I'm trying to figure out who their parents were and where they were from. Any help would be appreciated.
