I have a Burroughs Westlake, b: 11 Oct 1792. Could he be Burroughs the 1st? His parents were Jacob and Elizabeth (Holmes) Westlake. Siblings include: Anne, Elizabeth, Daniel, Benjamin, Esther Jane, Nancy & Charlotte. This Burroughs was brother of 5g-grandfather Benjamin. This family lived in and around Newburgh and Horseheads, NY (Chemung Co). The family tradition states Benjamin and his brothers came from Cornwall, England but my research lately indicates that the family came over several generations before from Devon, England. Glad to share what I have but there are still some missing pieces. Deborah Economidis,
