I am researching my husband's family. His 5th great
grandfather was Morris Rose Bartow b. 1788 in Suffolk County
(Brookhaven). He married Catlyntye Van Gelder. In doing
this family history I notice they married into Blauvelt,
etc.
My husband's line comes thru Dr. Morris Bartow and wife's
daughter Margaret Westervelt Bartow who married John
Brandt Jr.
Morris Bartow was a medical doctor in Tappan, Rockland Co,
NY, right on the NJ line, I believe. Any of these
ring a bell in your line?
