Westervelt of Shelbyville Dies Sunday" Born 7 June, 1855; mayor, Secretary of Illinois State Board of Health 8 years; City Health Officer; Officer and Director of First national Bank and shelby Loan and Trust company; instrumental in organizing the Shelby Fair Association ande in the management of the Shelbyville Chautauqua, the building of the Park Auditorium and the Park Lake; Methodist church.
This was found in the Shelby County Ancestors No. 3 July 2002 Volume 24.
