From my research on the Westervelt family, Lubbert Lubbertsen (no surname at that time) and Geesje Roelofse had seven children, or which several are ancestors. The father of Geesje is not known. Someone along the line attempted to attach her father as Roelof Van Houten, but just doesn't click.
