In reply to Frank Michael WESTER: Looks like you have done a lot of research! I want to tell you about 2 books my mother has written. She is now 79 yrs old, the last surviving of 10 siblings, and has done decades of research recording family history since she was young. Her dad was John Hartwell WESTER (b. 21 Jun 1870 near Wayland Springs, TN) son of Francis Washington and Mary Elizabeth Bryan WESTER. The first book she wrote (90 pgs): "5 Wester Brothers and Their Descendants" compiled by Clemmie Wester Crow. She gives oral and written accounts of Wester family origins. In addition to listings of family members, it includes some photos and a copy of a hand written deed. Copyrighted 1991. The second book she wrote (75 pgs): "The J.H. Wester Family" is about her own Dad, his parents, siblings, and descendants. In addition to listings of family members, it contains some photos, maps, house plans, and accounts from her childhood diary. Copyrighted 1995. My mother is 79 and in extremely poor health, but her mind is sharp as a tack! She has a lot "in her head" and stored in boxes that she did not put in her books. It was a lot of hard work (and expense) for her just to print the information that she did print! I don't know if you would be interested in her books or not, or if you can tie our branch of the family into your family research. Let me know if you are interested.
