Hi. I'm not related to this family. I found a marriage announcement in a newspaper here: http://www.fultonhistory.com/Fulton.html
"Married Xmas. - Miss Sadie Gordon of North Manlius, and Ernest West of this place, were married at Baldwinsville Christmas day. Mr. and Mrs. west will live in East Syracuse after Jan. 1." ~Syracuse NY Daily Journal - Saturday, 29 Dec 1906
There is a longer marriage announcement here: "Christmas Wedding. East Syracuse, Dec. 26. - A quiet and pretty Christmas wedding took place yesterday at noon, when Charles Ernest West of this place and Miss Sadie Anna Gordon of North Manlius were united in marriage... The only witnesses to the tying of the nuptial know were Miss Katie Bush of Carthage, who acted as bridesmaid, and Hiram B. West of this place, a brother of the groom, who was best man... The groom is employed as a brakeman on the New York Central raidroad, having come here about eighteen months ago." ~Syracuse NY Herald, Wednesday, Dec 26, 1906
Manlius is a village in Onondaga County, east of Syracuse. Unfortunately, there is no mention of Sadie's family.
There was one more announcement in this newspaper: "Marriages - WEST-GORDON - At the Baptist parsonage in Baldwinsville Tuesday, December 25, 1906, by Rev. George Lyman Ford, Mr. Charles Ernest West of East Syracuse and Miss Sadie A. Gordon of this village. Miss Katie Bush and Hiram West, a brother of the bridegroom, were bridesmaid and best man. Mr. and Mrs. West will reside in East Syracuse." ~Baldwinsville NY Gazette & Farmers Journal December 27, 1906
According to a tree on Ancestry, Sadie's parents were Joseph & Bessie Gordon.
One other thing I found was an obit for Ernest West, in case you don't have it:
Vicinity Obituary - C. Ernest West - Central Square - C. Ernest West, 77, of Central Square, died Tuesday in Pleasant Acres nursing home after a long illness. The family published a "Card of Thanks" to "the girls at Pleasant acres who cared for him during his illness.." ~Newspaper Mexico Independent, Sunday October, 27, 1960
Hope this helps. Annie
