Does anyone know of a Robert William West born Runton Norfolk England i think around 1879.He was in the Royal Navy pre 1901 and then through the First World War till about 1919.
Family information says that he emigrated to Canada i suppose sometime in the 1920's but it could be a lot later.
He must have been at least 40 years old when he left so perhaps never married or had family.
But somewhere out there in Canada there could be ancestors of his.
I have a photo of him in his Navy Uniform taken probably at the outbreak of WW1.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
