I am searching for my GGGrandfather
My Grandfather was Joesph West - he married Neila Cole
My Great Grandfather was Joseph West - he married Mary Schlegelmlch
My Great Grandafather was David West - we married Isabell ? (McIntyre or Pollack)
David West was born in Scotland in December of 1837
David married Isabelle in 1852
David and Isabelle immigrated to America in 1870
I have found he in the 1870 Bangar Michigan Census
the 1880 Bay City Michigan Census
The 1900 Bay City Michigan Census
He died in 1901 and is buried at Elm Lawn Bay City Michigan
I need help with his parents. I have no idea who they are or where he came from in Scotland.
I have tried to search for his immigration records but could not find them.
I found two possible families one in West Lothian Whestlands Scotland a John and Margre West with a sister named Margaret - there is a son born the same year - same name
Then there is an Ann West in Angus Scotland with a James West and an Isabell Sunmer living with them - could this be my David and his Isabell???
I know he had five children Mary, Katherine, Bessie, Margaret and my Great Grandfather Joseph.
If anyone else could find additional Info that would be great.
