I have Jane Myers born MS, born/died unknown place and time - parents unknown. The factual information consists of one marriage record.

A Marriage Bond was issued on 15 December 1880 to cosigners J. W. Scarborough and S. M. West in the County of Harrison, Mississippi for the sum of $100.00 lawful money. The bond was signed, sealed and delivered in the presence of Circuit Court Clerk T. S. Hewes who wrote affidavit of age filed.
Rites of matrimony were celebrated on 19 December 1880 by Rev. Michael Cox. This marriage was recorded in Harrison County Record Book 7 page 239.

Age of consent for marriage of females in 1880 Mississippi was 10 years of age. Does affidavit of age filed indicate a young 10 year old female?

What is the connection to S. M. West, John Wesley Scarborough and Jane Myers?

Jane and John had six children. The last child was born in 1895.
Jane does not appear on any census record with John Wesley Scarborough.
Census record for 1900 reflects John Wesley Scarborough widower.

Who was Jane Myers?
