Andrew J. West, age 36, a merchant, was living with this wife, Leah, age 36, in Banks CO., GA at the 1870 census. Both Richard and Leah were born in NC. Their children were born in GA. Also in the household was Richard C. Waters, huckster, age 20, born SC. I am intersted to know if there was kinship between Richard and either Andrew or Leah, or if he was merely an employee or boarder.
