My great-grandparents were Henry Wessinger and Janie Seigler Wessinger. They lived in Prosperity, SC as did Henry's brothers, Coley(sic?), Ambrose, and Wilbur. Henry passed well before my birth, but Janie lived with my family for many years. I can remember visiting with Wilbur and his wife Ruth as a child. I am interested in finding out more about this part of my family. In some research I've found online, I have been able to trace the Wessingers back to KleinIngersheim in Germany. I am taking a trip to Germany soon and was potentially interested in doing more research while there if I could find enough to get started with. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
