Hi! My name is Angelika Wessel-Szabo. I am tracing my families lineage. I came across your message and found the name of my gg grandfather, Heinrich Wessel. I am not sure if his first name was Johan. He could have been born in 1850, or maybe he is my ggg grandfather?

So far I have his name Heinrich Wessel. His wife died when their son Bernhard was 3 years old. The date of birth I do not know. Bernhard died in 1932. His wife was Elfriede Brink who died in 1928. Together they had 2 daughters, Maria and Bernhardine. Bernhardine was born in 1915 in Westfalen, Germany.

Either Bernhard and Heinrich was in their 40's when the fathered their children or maybe Heinrich was named after his father who might have been heinrich also?

Is there anything you can tell me about your Heinrich Wessel? If you can help in any way, I would greatly appreciate it. I do not know German so I can not access any government offices in Germany because I do not speak German.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanking you in advance,

Angelika Wessel-Szabo
