Marry Wescott_Gloucester NJ in 1785
I am seeking the ancestors/associates of Charity Bennett, born abt 1762 in Burlington or Gloucester county, NJ. She married William Penn 27 Jan, 1785: both were of Galloway in Gloucester county NJ at the time of their marriage. Their marriage certificate was signed by John Wood, Robert Brian, Mary Wescott, Constantine Chew, Rachel Brian. They had five children that I know of. The couple is buried at the Grace Bible Church Cemetery, Atsion, NJ.
The Brians are possibly Robert Brian and Rachel Ware, who married in 1758 in Gloucester. Constantine Chew is either Sr. b. ca 1740 (married to Elizabeth Leonard: his parents were Richard Chew=Abigail Wood. Abigail Wood's father was named Constantine), or his son, Constantine Jr., born 1765, who married Martha Ewing or Ewen. Robert Chew, son of Constantine Jr. and Martha, married Elizabeth Penn, the daughter of William Penn and Charity Bennett.
Thanks for any bit of information that might lead to additional info on the relationships between these people.
