Southern Alabama Wescott's

I started researching my Great Grandmothers family which are Wescott's and hit a deadend almost exactly where I started.

Eva Wescott b 7 Oct 1896 married Thomas M Motley b. 18 Apr 1893. They were married Abt 1915 in southern Alabama or Northeast Florida. They later lived in Covington County Alabama.

We think that Eva may have come from Geneva County, Alabama because my mother remembers visiting some Wescott's there as a child. She particularly remembers visiting a Wescott in Geneva who was a Preacher. She doesn't remember any other name or what kind of church, but we do know that we had some Wescott relatives there.

I thought that this line would be easy because Eva's sister was Lila Henifew Wescott who married John Ziglar. They later had a son named Hilary Hinton who we all now know as the famous Zig Ziglar. I figured that someone would have done some work on this line but I haven't found anything. I do have some hope in that one of Zig's daughters, Ginger, has been in touch recently.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
